We are looking for a CRC Support Worker to join our team at Combe Lea, Dementia Care Home in Midsomer Norton. Combe Lea Community Resource centre, cares for older adults living with dementia over two floors, Gardener’s Row and Willow View. Within the CRC Support role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a fantastic team of staff of up 70 individuals excluding casual/bank workers.
This role is on a part time basis covering 27.375 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota. The Shifts will include weekend and bank holidays. This a temporary for one year to cover a secondment of an employee to another role.
The ideal candidate should be a good team player, have good communication skills and be able to develop appropriate and professional relationships with service users and carers, which value them as individuals, including establishing and maintaining effective communication.
You should also be able to promote and maintain person-centred service and operate safely appropriate equipment with training. We provide care to the standard we expect for ourselves and our families. We offer a working environment where high quality care and compassion are respected and rewarded.
Previous comprehensive experience of working in care would be desirable, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential. This post attracts a welcome payment of 5% of the starting salary for the grade to enable individuals to join our permanent workforce. This is payable upon successful completion of your probationary period and is subject to eligibility criteria.
