Job description
- As a support worker, your role is to support people to do the things that matter most to them. The role is focused on supporting people to live their lives as independently as they can, keeping them safe, helping them to make choices, and ensuring that they lead full and rich lives in their community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide practical and emotional support to individuals
- Support and monitor their healthcare needs, including administering medication
- Assisting individuals with life skills
- Working with other professionals
- Produce support plans that best suit the individuals needs
- Complete individual daily logs
REQUIREMENTS
- A qualification in health and social care is preferable
- At least two years experience of working within residential care (UK)
- Experience of working with individuals with Mental Health conditions preferable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to carry out domestic duties
- Ability to work within a team
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
