Job Description.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our continually expanding organisation, as a Support Worker, for our clients across the Calne, Devizes and surrounding village areas. You will be required to provide direct and person-centered support for a range of adults, this position will include personal care duties.
Job Responsibilities.
- To assist service users who need help with getting up, going to bed, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet.
- To help service users with mobility issues and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- To help care for service users who are at the end of their life.
- To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users.
- To make and change beds, tidy rooms, light cleaning and empty commodes.
- To prepare microwave/light meals, serve them and wash up, leaving kitchen tidy.
- To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
- To comply with the agency’s guidelines and policies at all times.
- To report to the agency manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a service user.
- To encourage service users to remain as independent as possible.
- To carry out duties in accordance with the Service User Care Plan.
- Prompt medication and complete medication records.
- To undertake required training.
Job Requirements.
- Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Must be fully flexible with days worked on a rota basis that includes every other weekend.
- Must be able to follow a detailed care plan along with completing electronic daily logs on an app that must be downloaded to your phone.

- Use of company cars for drivers (subject to license requirements) and use of push bikes or electric bikes for walkers.
As a company we cover Calne, Chippenham, Devizes, Melksham and Corsham so you may be expected to cover any of these areas as the business needs.
Shifts will be on a rota basis (7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm) or flexible working this includes every other weekend.
