We specialize in care and daily living assistance to an array of individuals. Whether they need daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our care givers will provide a personalised care plan that you can trust.

Job Description.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our continually expanding organisation, as a Support Worker, for our clients across the Calne, Devizes and surrounding village areas. You will be required to provide direct and person-centered support for a range of adults, this position will include personal care duties.

Job Responsibilities.

  • To assist service users who need help with getting up, going to bed, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet.
  • To help service users with mobility issues and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • To help care for service users who are at the end of their life.
  • To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users.
  • To make and change beds, tidy rooms, light cleaning and empty commodes.
  • To prepare microwave/light meals, serve them and wash up, leaving kitchen tidy.
  • To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
  • To comply with the agency’s guidelines and policies at all times.
  • To report to the agency manager any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a service user.
  • To encourage service users to remain as independent as possible.
  • To carry out duties in accordance with the Service User Care Plan.
  • Prompt medication and complete medication records.
  • To undertake required training.

Job Requirements.

  • Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Must be fully flexible with days worked on a rota basis that includes every other weekend.
  • Must be able to follow a detailed care plan along with completing electronic daily logs on an app that must be downloaded to your phone.

  • Great rates of pay: £10.70 weekdays, £11.70 weekends and double on Bank Holidays.

  • Telephone support during all care visits.
  • Use of company cars for drivers (subject to license requirements) and use of push bikes or electric bikes for walkers.

As a company we cover Calne, Chippenham, Devizes, Melksham and Corsham so you may be expected to cover any of these areas as the business needs.

Shifts will be on a rota basis (7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm) or flexible working this includes every other weekend.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £10.70-£11.70 per hour
