You will work in an all female service as part of a team so you will have access to lots of support and training from other support workers, a senior support worker and managers. This role offers a rewarding and fulfilling career helping young adults to live happy and meaningful lives. You could help the people you support achieve life skills such as going shopping, cooking their meals, or attending activities such as the cinema or bowling. Without you they would not be able to live an independent and enriched life and so you get to feel great about the care you provide and go home feeling that you have made a difference to someone’s life.
No experience is required. If you are a caring, compassionate and dedicated person who wants to help others, you have the skills we are looking for. (Please note, we are currently unable to provide sponsorship)

  • Fixed rolling shift patterns assigned to you so that you know your regular hours of work on an ongoing basis.
  • There is lots of opportunity to pick up extra shifts but there is no obligation to do so, as we value a healthy work life balance. You will not be allocated extra shifts if you do not want them.
  • You will have access to lots of support from great managers and opportunity to complete an NVQ.
  • Progression opportunities do become available and are open to all existing employees prior to external recruitment.
  • You will generally work in the same house on each shift. There is generally no travelling between services once you start work, and you will build strong and meaningful relationships with the people you support and your colleagues.
  • The majority of the people we support have their own Motability Vehicles so for those of you who drive there is normally no need to use your own car.
Benefits:
  • Casual dress.
  • Company events.
  • Company pension.
  • Employee discount.
  • Free parking.
  • On-site parking.
