Job description
TM Healthcare Services is a fast growing organisation providing care and support to young people in Derbyshire with a wide range of needs. We are currently seeking for highly motivated support workers to join our friendly team in Derby.
The support workers will look after young people on 1:1 or 2:1 in semi-independent accommodation which is located 10 minutes away from Derby City Centre.
In your role as a support worker, you will be supporting the young people on 1:1 or 2:1 within the home and out in the community . Although we value relevant experience of supporting young people , you do not need to have prior experience if you can demonstrate a ‘can-do approach’, person-centred values, energy and commitment. You will have a strong work ethic and duty of care and be able to contribute to a positive team approach.
Support Worker Duties:
- Provision of hourly OBS
- Shift work including weekends and bank holidays
- Prompts with medication
- Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with the young person
- Prompts with independent living skills
