Working hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rota including weekends and late shifts

We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team at our Homelessness Service Riverside Complex Lifehouse in Canary Wharf, London providing accommodation-based support to 81 homeless women.

As a Support Worker you will have experience working within a supported housing environment This role is central to achieving positive outcomes for our vulnerable clients and has operational responsibility for service delivery within specific areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work within relevant policies and legislation such as safeguarding and Health & Safety and to maintain your continuous professional development.
  • Ensure successful client outcomes which demonstrate quality and effectiveness in all aspects of the programme
  • Understand and work to ensure the achievement of the contractual objectives and targets of the service
  • Work with the team to demonstrate development of service delivery in line with organisation and legislative requirements
  • Ensure locally established internal and contractual KPI’s are achieved.
  • Ensure all aspects of the job description are adhered to

In addition, to be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience in delivering Person Centred Support
  • Proven experience working with homeless/vulnerable adults
  • Strong team working skills
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills with clients, colleagues and external agencies
