Children's Residential Support Worker

Are you an experienced Residential Worker or Youth Worker looking to build your career in residential care?
We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to join our team, based in a children's residential care home in Manchester.
The home I am recruiting for is a 6 bedded, OFSTED regulated home, that supports and cares for children with learning disabilities and Autism.
The home is part of a national children's residential care home provider, that provides expert residential, clinical, and educational support and care for children across services around the country.
The home is based in East Manchester, near Droylsden.
Duties:
- You will assist with the care of children and young people with learning disabilities and autism
- Provide personal care when required
- You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
- Medication distribution
- You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people. Consistency and organisation skills are key.
- Manage, update and report on care plans
- You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
- Support in the residential home, community, and specialist school.
Pay and Hours:
- Full-time, 39 hour a week contract
- Working, early, late and long day shifts, + sleeps between 2-10 a month
- £10.90 per hour, without the level 3 in children and young people
- Higher pay rate if you have the level 3 in children and young people
- + £63 per sleep
