We are currently looking for highly motivated and committed Support Workers to join the team in Bournemouth to support clients with complex needs in a 24 hour supported accommodation setting.

The role requires someone who can provide a flexible, creative and personalised approach.

The service is 7 beds and aims to support individuals to manage their accommodation and improve their quality of life. The service works collaboratively with clients, supporting them in a safe and supportive environment in developing goals, plans and strategies to better manage their mental health, substance misuse and any associated risks.

About you

In this role you will be involved in undertaking key working activities, taking referrals, conducting assessments, inducting clients into the service, supporting clients to access the community and promoting client involvement. You will also have a specific remit of promoting good health amongst those who use the service. Other duties include day to day housing management and health & safety tasks.

To succeed, you will have an understanding of the needs and support requirements of people with complex needs. You’ll also have the ability to establish an effective working relationship with these clients, be client centred and possess the skills to carry out comprehensive assessment and action plans.

You will be working a shift rota that includes evenings, weekends, Bank holidays and sleep ins.
