Experienced Support Worker - Autism Specific

Hours - Part time and Full Time

Pay Rate- £10.50 per hour

We are looking for experienced staff to provide exceptional support to individuals with Autism, in the Glasgow area

We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in shared supported living properties and individual tenancies.

You will support 2 Males with Complex Needs , supporting with personal care , meal preparation, social activities, daily management of tenancy and financial expenditure, liaising with health team representatives and health appointments, personal care, support with seizure management and administration of daily medication. Driver is preferred for this role but not essential.

Real Life Options offers flexible employment opportunities. This role will include shift working, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.

An enhanced Adult and Child PVG is required for this role.

We support a diverse group of individuals to live an ordinary life with bespoke levels of support in various areas in [LOCATION]. Our Support Workers provide a person centred approach in providing quality support, which makes our service very flexible and adaptable to each individual’s needs. We support people to enhance their quality of life at home and within their community.

Staff may work with individuals with a learning disability working in the person's own home ensuring opportunities to reach their full potential are available. Support needs can range from: enabling a person to participate in their personal care, medication, emotional support, daily living activities, social support and sleepover cover.

The role of a Support Worker is integral to the quality of support provision and can be rewarding and inspiring. You will support people to Identify and work towards meaningful outcomes and to participate in their community and develop new and maintain existing relationships.

Hours of work are flexible to meet the needs of the people we support and we are able to offer our staff flexible working hours to support with work/life balance.
