Immediate starts available for experienced Support Workers with no weekends!!
The service caters for up to 15 residents with a dedicated team of Carers that have a vast experience in dealing with people with Learning Difficulties.
You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers in providing a complex care package tailored to individual needs. The role is both physically and mentally demanding so you must have relevant care experience. As an experienced Support Worker you must have experience of dealing with residents with Learning Difficulties such as Asperger’s, ADHD and Autism. You will be assisting them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You also must have MAPA Training or the equivalent due to the nature of the clientele.

To apply for this role you must;
– Have two employment references, one of which must be from your most recent employer
– Have a full and up-to-date CV with a full employment history from the date of leaving full time education to present.
– Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. first aid, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
– Have a practical Moving and Handling training certificate (covering the use of Hoists and Slings) dated within the past 6 months.
– Hold an in-date MAPA or CPI Safety Intervention Foundation card.
– Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
– Have a minimum of 6 months of paid UK Support Worker experience.
