This is an exciting opportunity as we are a new home regulated by Ofsted and are recruiting a brand new team of staff to work with our service at a high standard.

Optimum Youth Care is a newly established progressive care home specialising in delivering holistic care and development for children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. We are looking for people who encompass the values of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy, whilst working systemically, and are committed to building a family home and grow with us over time.

Our vision for this home is to work therapeutically with young people to expand their skill set, emotional resilience and get them ready for independence.

From day one you will benefit from training and support from a proven learning and development team and leadership from a Qualified Social Worker, as well ongoing support whilst in post from your peers and colleagues to ensure you have everything you need to become successful in the role.

Responsibilities of the Residential Support Worker:

  • Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
  • Display yourself as an appropriate role model
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
  • Encourage positive life experiences for the children
  • Desirable NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Driver - Desirable. Full clean licence required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £21,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
