Join our Mental Health Care team as a Support Worker

The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Support Worker.
Salary: £26,037 per annum
Location: Camden
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Rolling Rota - 8am-4pm 1pm-9pm and occasional 10am-6pm (Weekends included in the rota - Must be able to work Christmas or New Year)
Tile House is an innovative integrated supported housing scheme in Kings Cross which provides 15 high quality self-contained supported housing units designed to a high specification, and intensive support to 15 people with complex mental health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the service is running at exceptionally high standard and meeting all the service specification.
- Undertaking key work sessions, support planning, completing risk assessments and needs reviews..
- Support to develop the necessary skills to live independently, and to access training, education, and work.
- Create an environment that promotes opportunities for customers to develop, learn and enable skills towards independence.
- Social inclusion activities
- Comply with all relevant policies & procedures, including but not limited to: Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Customer Care, Equality & Diversity, the Code of Conduct etc.
What you will need to succeed

The successful candidate will:
- Be able to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
- Posses a genuine passion of making a real difference in people’s lives.
- Have experience and knowledge of safeguarding legislation including ability to recognize safeguarding issues.
- Have knowledge of the Housing Sector and One Housing Group’s activities.
