Dimensions are seeking a Support Worker to join the team at Smile Day Centre in Ifield, Crawley supporting people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
Support Workers at Smile Day Centre promote independence for the people we support by helping them to choose and engage in the activities they want to. There are a range of activities that take place at Smile, so no two days are the same. Things that Support Workers will be involved with include:
Music Classes
Arts and Crafts
Sensory Story Sessions
Supporting individuals to use their personal health equipment; i.e. standers, walkers, assisting with postural management.
Activities in the community which include bowling; visits to national parks; swimming
The people we support also have the use of our fantastic facilities which include use of a Jacuzzi and sensory room.
Support Workers may also need to assist the people we support at mealtimes, with personal care and with medication.
If you have not worked in this type of role before, don't worry, Dimensions provide all Support Workers with full training.
Dimensions are seeking a full time Support Worker for this position. The hours are 8.45-4.10 Monday to Friday and are pleased to offer a payrate of £10.92 per hour.
