Position: Support Worker

Salary: £10.10 - £10.50 per hour

Service: Pirlea House, Purley

About Your Role

  • Pirlea House provides specialist accommodation and support to individuals who fall within the London Borough of Croydon and surrounding boroughs and the broader South East.
  • With a highly skilled team trained to deliver person-Centred Active Support, each person has on-going daily support to ensure they engage in a variety of life activities and opportunities of their choice.
  • You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out.
  • You’ll develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties.
  • You’ll provide help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

Next Steps

  • Once you’ve applied you’ll have a call with our dedicated in-house recruitment team to find out more about the role.
  • You’ll then have an interview scheduled at the service and have your chance to go down and meet the team.
  • If you are successful we’ll go through an Onboarding Process obtaining a Free DBS Check and References.
  • You’ll then start with our 3-day online induction with our dedicted Learning & Development team prior to returning to the service to continue your growing career at Consensus.
