Food & Nutrition Technician
Location: St Robert of Newminster Catholic School & Sixth Form College
Grade: Grade C, SCP 4 (£21,189 per annum, pro rata)
Hours: 14 hours per week, term time only, permanent
Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Food Technician to join our Food & Nutrition Department, working alongside our teaching staff to support learning. You should have a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills which allow them to engage with students and the wider school community. You should have confidence to use all equipment and machinery, however full training will be provided. Applicants should hold Level 4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths and Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willing to work towards) and be keen to undertake further training. Previous experience of working in an educational establishment not essential, but would be advantageous.
