Job Title: Support Worker
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in community activities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on the needs and goals of each individual
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals under your care
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
