Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a lady with her complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user resides in her family home with her daughter in the town of Lewisham.
We are looking for someone to join her care team on a part time basis and support her care needs throughout the day.
Whilst at home she enjoys watching her favourite TV programs such as Loose Women, various series on Netflix, watching films with her carers, an enjoys discussing the plot throughout.
A good pamper session is another favourite pastime of hers, especially having her hair washed and nails done, and enjoys an occasional Takeaway when she can.
Our service user is very people-centred, she loves spending quality time with her family and care team, socialising, getting out into the community, and enjoying the sunshine in her garden.
You will be supporting her social and personal care as well as undertaking meal preparation, administering medication and carrying out clinical interventions as required.
She can contribute to some aspects of her care, and it is important that this is encouraged to maximise her independence.
She has limited communication and is visually impaired which can cause her to become frustrated at times, Therefore, we require clear communicators who are calm, patient and can understand and interpret her wants and needs effectively.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Epilepsy Care
- Seizure Management
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time Days- 1 shift per week
- Monday-Friday
- 8am-8pm
