Job Summary
Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide entry to mid-level technical skill and expertise by actively responding and triaging requests for support as part of the corporate IT team. The Support Technician will provide front line IT support for end user devices, applications, connectivity, and issue triage/escalation across all business units within Zachry Corporation. The position will be located at Zachry s corporate headquarters in San Antonio, TX.
Essential Functions
- Provide technical end user support using a variety of methodologies, including in person and remote support.
- Perform support request triage and coordination to ensure timely response leading to a successful engagement for end user requests and operational monitoring alerts.
- Develop a technical understanding of the products and services utilized by Zachry lines of business.
- Identify repeated issues, effectively communicate, and assist with their resolutions.
- Own support requests through lifecycle with a focus on accurate and timely communication, excellent technical resolution, and superb customer service.
- Record detailed and accurate transcriptions of all activities related to a support request, including end user communication, resolution details and accurate time tracking for all activities required to complete the request.
- Support imaging process of new end user equipment, reconditioning of used end user equipment and returned inventory process as necessary throughout the life cycle of the piece of equipment.
- Install, uninstall, and safely transport end user equipment as well as provide remote support for end user equipment installs that are self-performed by an end user.
- Efficiently support the effort to track and manage Zachry inventory assets and software licenses
- Efficiently utilize and support approved third-party tools for device management, monitoring and utilization.
- Travel not necessary but some rare instances to support end users, 5%
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Focus on knowledge development by asking questions and continual training.
- Adherence to Zachry IT Processes and Standard Operating Procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2 years IT or other tech related experience required
- Requires a high school degree or equivalent
- General knowledge of computers, applications, and programming.
- Interest in learning technology, technology s application in the business, and assisting end users.
- Interest in developing technical skills and certifications.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Problem solving skills
