IT Support Technician
We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our company working within the motorcycle industry. As the IT Support Technician you will be responsible for the smooth running of the company network and computer systems. This will be a varied role where time will be split between providing desktop support and maintaining or developing our existing IT infrastructure. Main responsibilities
· To monitor, maintain and improve our existing IT infrastructure
· Review and improve systems and user documentation
· Ensure backups maintained and up to date
· Providing desktop support to end-users
· Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware faults
· Building and installing new systems/devices
· Recording and monitoring support tickets
· Liaising with external service providers
Key skills
· Ability to translate user errors into understandable support tickets
· Ability to work well with others and on your own initiative
· Ability to work well under pressure
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organisational skills
Preferred experience
· Previous experience as 1st or 2nd line support
· Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, Azure AD
· Windows 10, 11
· Office 365
· Networking, TCP/IP
Job details
· 28k starting salary
· Full Time and permanent position
· 9-5:30 Monday to Thursday, 9-5 Friday
· Based at our Portslade office
