The L&G Apprentice programme is designed to help you reach your potential.
You will develop your skill set, gain valuable work experience and complete a fully funded professional qualification, all whilst earning a competitive salary with access to outstanding employee benefits.
With support every step of the way and access to core skills training, you are supported by a dedicated line manager and will contribute to the success of a team.
Part of a cohort of apprentices, you have the opportunity to connect with your peers and colleagues though networking opportunities and social events.
The Apprenticeship:
Legal & General Apprenticeship Program Advert - Cyber Security Analyst Apprentice
What you'll be doing:
Join us on a 24 month program which includes support to study for an industry recognised Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist Qualification, whilst building your business acumen.
You'll receive on the job training and coaching from your line manage and training workshops and assignments, delivered by a leading apprenticeship training provider.
Salary:
£25,000 per annum.
During your apprenticeship, duties will include:
- Provide support for the Identity & Access management team.
- Collate, triage and manage security events to ensure they are responded to in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the creation of management information such as dashboards to ensure risk events and trends are easily detected and reported on.
- Work alongside colleagues to perform Joiner, Mover, Leaver access management.
- Conduct regular recertification reviews for user access.
- Ensure alignment to Legal & General’s Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly policy.
What we're looking for

- We’re not expecting prior industry experience, but we’ll want to see that you have the aptitude, potential and desire which will ultimately lead to you being successful.

Entry requirements:
To qualify for the program, you will need:
- an A Level in ICT
- OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT
- OR a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
- OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:
You’ll typically work 7 hours per day.
Agile working lets you flexibly switch between the office and home.
Depending on your role, you and your manager will be able to decide on a working schedule that best suits you.
