Job: IT & Systems Support Technician

Due to our continued growth both in the UK and internationally, we’re searching for an ambitious and experienced IT & Systems Support Technician to join our busy, hard-working and friendly team to provide technical support and systems tools to internal and external customers. How you will make an impact
You will empower the Safehinge Primera team to do their jobs to the best of their ability by supporting them with their IT & Systems needs. Working with our ticket system, you will be the first point of contact for internal customers ensuring that they receive first class service by finding solutions to technical problems. You will continuously improve our digital and network systems to grow alongside the company and work to improve efficiency in these systems.
What you'll do
● Manage day to day IT & Systems related issues through a ticket system which you will use to document progress and communicate with your team members.
● Provide day to day support for all team members' desktops and laptops, VoIP phones as well as two office networks.
● Work on projects to improve Safehinge Primera’s digital systems and software.
● Manage software licensing.
● Support onboarding of new team members by configuring Windows machines and giving IT tutorials.
● Maintain and monitor the office network infrastructure in both Glasgow and Blackpool.
● Support the continual evolution of our ERP and access to data through dashboard and report creation.
● Responsibility for maintaining network security and ensuring the Safehinge Primera team is adhering to cyber security policies and ISO27001 requirements.
What you’ll bring
At Safehinge Primera we look for people who will add to our organisation and align with our Purpose and Values. Your experience, skills and competencies will include:
● Experience with computer networking and cyber security
● Experience with Google workspace - administration experience is preferred
● Experience managing an IT support ticket system is preferred
● Experience in computer networking, it would be a bonus if you had - experience with Ubiquiti products but this is not essential
● Experience administrating Windows 10/11 and windows server
● Experience with Microsoft Office, ideally with Microsoft domains.
● Knowledge of cyber security theory - experience in managing endpoint security software is preferred.
● ISO27001 compliance experience
● ERP knowledge and specifically Odoo would be an advantage
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to root cause and troubleshoot issues
● Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to successfully manage a busy and diverse workload
● Passion for continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
● Cyber Security and Computer Networking degree or other related degree is preferred but we are open to applications from those with an HND in Computer Networking with the necessary experience.

● Working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 9am until 5.30pm (flexible working/hybrid arrangements are available)
This is a full-time position with the possibility of light travel.
