Software & Hardware Support Technician, Sevenoaks - £20-30k DOE

I am currently recruiting for a Software & Hardware Support Technician, for my client who has been providing EPoS solutions since 2006. They are a leading provider of specialist EPoS solutions for many retail sectors, including newsagents and convenience stores, sports clubs, cafes and general retail.
Required to join their experienced team, where you will receive comprehensive training to deliver exceptional service and support to their customers across the UK.
Duties will include:
· Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking help with technical issues and training.
· Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
· Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
· Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
· Record events and problems on the in-house reporting system
· Follow-up and update customer status and information.
· Preparation of hardware, troubleshooting & fault finding on hardware issues.
· Processing of hardware, software and other items ordered
· Software testing and quality control checking
· Ensuring consistent updating of knowledge across the software suite
About you:
- A good understanding of PCs and PC software is essential.
- Experience utilising EPoS software would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Conscientious and detail orientated
Monday to Friday 9-5:30 (plus 1 in 3 out of hours support)
