Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by hundreds and thousands of tonnes. We are now looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.
With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellent performance, we supply premium cooking oils and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser. We offer the human touch with local, community-based depots which seek to give back to those communities every chance we get.

As an IT Support Technician based at the Olleco Support Office (Blisworth), you will be a fundamental part of our team, enabling us to continue with our mission to serve the planet, a purpose we care strongly about and are committed to.
The IT department is responsible for the provision of IT services and supports 18 offices across the UK. Joining a team of 12, 6 being in the support team, you will be part of supporting our internal customers of over 700 users across the UK.

A little bit more about the role:
- Reports to the IT Service Desk Team Leader
- Provides first line support to all technology users within the business
- Logs issues through the IT ticketing system
- Ensures tickets are correctly classified and prioritised by the team and are being processed to meet operational level agreements
- Escalates tickets within the support team
- Provides basic technical support to users via telephone, email, and remote control
- Installs and configures user kit
- User administration via Active Directory and Office M365
- Contributes to the support knowledge base to support the team and the business
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
