We are offering an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Administrator to join a highly successful international company specializing in IT-based solutions.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for delivering first-line IT support to stakeholders, assisting them with hardware and software issues through phone, email, and administrative support.
Our client is particularly interested in finding a team player who is proactive in problem-solving and dedicated to delivering top-notch service to end users.
This position is based in the Ramsgate area, but occasional travel to Gloucester and, on rare occasions, Germany may be required.

Given the remote location, possessing a valid driver's license and the ability to drive are essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing technical support and answering support queries via phone or email.
  • Providing on-site and remote first-line support.
  • Supporting the daily operations of the business.
  • Installing IT equipment such as PCs, laptops, printers, etc.
  • Performing software installations and uninstalls.
  • Creating and managing user accounts, both locally in Active Directory and in Azure/Microsoft 365 & Applications (both local and SAAS).
  • Managing the telephone system.
  • Handling basic firewall management.
  • Creating and managing documentation.
  • Participating in project work.
  • Collaborating with external support companies and stakeholders.

Skills / Attributes Required:

  • Good understanding of computer systems is essential.
  • Possession of a full driving license and ability to drive is crucial due to the remote location.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Applications is a fundamental requirement.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in desktop and server management.
  • Competence in Microsoft 365 management.
  • Proficient in network management.
  • Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Microsoft certifications would be beneficial for the role.
  • Experience with Watchguard Firewall.
  • Familiarity with Exchequer ERP solutions.
