Role: Commercial Support Executive

What are they looking for:
They are looking for a naturally helpful and hardworking Commercial Support Executive to join their fast-paced team.
The successful candidate must have proactive organisation and planning skills and must be able to meet team targets and deadlines even when facing high work volumes. The individual will thrive when multitasking, have good commercial sense and be able to quickly and efficiently respond to internal / external email enquiries and manage requests from our suppliers.
This role is based in London, Great Suffolk Street, SE1 with a minimum of 3 days in the office is required per week.
- To ensure all accommodation and auxiliary contracts are loaded onto the reservation system accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- To maintain accurate accommodation availability by actioning daily updates in a timely manner.
- To liaise with Product/Web teams to progress new properties according to agreed timelines.
- To effectively and proactively fix/resolve any pricing issues by feeding back to the Product team.
- To have a clear understanding of pricing and yield so that any glaring errors could be highlighted prior to loading. Escalating issues which may impact revenue.
- To support the Product team to ensure information coming through to the Commercial Support team is accurate and in the correct format.
- To work alongside the Web team to ensure up to date information is displayed on the website at all times.
- To undertake any reasonable duties relevant to the position to ensure the success of the department.
- To communicate effectively across your areas of responsibility with other members of the Commercial Support team, taking responsibility for delivering to deadlines and being accountable for your own individual performance against agreed productivity.
- An interest or relevant study/experience within business analytics or commercial.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team in an effective problem solving approach.
- Excellent at planning and organising own time/workload to meet required targets.
- Capability to build excellent business relationships with owners and suppliers, setting clear timelines when reverting to a supplier or a colleague and keeping them fully updated at all times.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; able to juggle workloads and multi-task whilst maintaining a calm, positive attitude.
- Resourceful and practical; can think on their feet and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Positive can-do attitude as this will be an evolving role, gradually taking on more commercial responsibilities as the department develops
- Understanding of contracts and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
