Job Role
As an Application Support Technician, you will work closely with our support teams to deliver a specialised data retrieval service. You will be part of a small team that will receive requests to retrieve data. You will be a key facilitator for data retrieval requests taking an important role on the response to tickets. Collaboration, process adherence and responsibility are key in this role.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Work to ensure tickets incoming to Application Support for Data Retrieval are prioritised and assigned to team members for processing and resolution
- Work with Application Support team members to turn around Data Retrieval requests in a timely fashion
- Escalate tickets to other teams as appropriate
- Ensure all escalated tickets are updated on a timely basis
- Work with the Application Support team to maintain the Application Support knowledge base
Skills & Experience
- This is entry level position into IT
- Any experience in processing and resolution of incidents and requests
- Any working knowledge of incident management processes
- Able to communicate with others in a clear, honest and enthusiastic way in order to build trust
