Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for ages 5-17. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 116-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, outdoor courtyard and playground.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing data processing services to the facility at both locations to include performing basic computer system maintenance, setting up new computers, getting computers that are out of commission ready for removal, troubleshooting computer systems problems, working with CFO/Corp IT to mandate security procedures are followed, and other IT-related tasks/projects as assigned by the CFO/Corp IT. Interacts with a wide variety of personnel in all departments of the company as well as IT vendors.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates degree in applicable field or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Technical certifications (MCSE, CCNA, A+, NET+) preferred.
Experience:
- Two (2) years related experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment, with a working knowledge of computers and business software application programs and experience with in-house processing systems.
- Prior experience with system administration or any combination of education, training or experience in the Information Systems environment required.
- Must have working knowledge of Windows and MS Office, networking devices (Cisco devices), phone and fax hardware, eFax troubleshooting, and other commonly used applications and protocols.
- Knowledge of all versions of Windows operating systems and servers, including installation, troubleshooting, and networking, knowledge of network administration, internet network connectivity troubleshooting, basic AD management, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, network cabling (CAT 5e, CAT 6, jack terminations), phone installation, and VOIP systems (Avaya IP 500), voice mail configuration, printing (Xerox/HP), computer hardware setup (Dell desktop, laptops, and servers).
- Microsoft Access, Exchange, Excel, Word, Outlook with email troubleshooting, and a variety of other applications.
- Able to troubleshoot issues remotely over the phone/email via Remote Desktop, WebEx, Dameware, and/or DSM.
