Are you an IT Support Technician who is looking for an environment where you can collaborate and be supported with professional development and training?

Our client, a growing multi-academy trust based in the South West is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their IT Services Team (Support Team).

This role requires travel between sites and have a full driving license and own transport. The role can be based at either Kingsbridge, Totnes, Newton Abbot, and Kingsteignton.

What will you be doing as an IT Support Technician?

• Act as the first point of contact for the IT department via both phone and email
• To accurately log and categorise support tickets and requests
• Provide technical support and guidance for a wide range of software applications
• Deliver training sessions for new software or hardware
• Supporting a wide range of infrastructure including Microsoft Desktop and Server product range, Wireless Technology, Cloud based web applications and more
• Maintenance of client hardware

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in Office applications and Printer installation
• Experience of troubleshooting Network, Printer, desktop, and laptop issues
• Experience of iOS
• Experience in using Active Directory
• Demonstrate an understanding of Windows 10/11 and Office 365
• Knowledge of server/switch room equipment and data cable installation
• Experience with Cloud solutions such as Office 365
