Job Description
To work alongside the Technical Director maintaining and developing cloud services including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Azure. To assist with the training and development of 2nd and 1st line support engineers and help out on the support desk when required
Roles and responsibilities
- Work alongside the Technical Director developing cloud based projects
- Develop Power BI integration for client integration of data
- Provide professional, friendly and polite telephone, email and in-person support
- Accurately document and update client information.
- Accurately log, update and resolve support tickets.
- Diagnose and resolve helpdesk tickets.
- Prepare hardware and software for installation to client sites.
- Assist other service desk engineers as and when required.
- Attend client sites as and when necessary.
- Assist in more technical projects as and when required.
- Train and develop 1st and 2nd line support staff when not working directly on project development
Technical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Power BI required
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Azure required
- Excellent knowledge of SharePoint required
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps preferred
- Good knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022
- Good knowledge of Windows 10 and 11.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of Active directory.
- Good knowledge of Office 365 and other mail platforms.
- Good knowledge of PC hardware, installation, and configuration.
- Good knowledge of network printers.
- Good knowledge of LAN switches, Wireless Access Points
- Some knowledge of cloud service like Azure.
- Some knowledge of Apple OS’.
- Some knowledge of mobile OS’.
- Good knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, installation, and configuration.
- Good knowledge of network devices such as switches, printers, access points
- Keep to agreed SLA’s.
Other
- Ability to work in a team.
- Assist with client out of hours service as and when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
