Job description
Have you provided or received a care and support service from NCHA or another organisation, or have you supported someone else in receipt of a care and support service with NCHA or another organisation?
We’re looking for someone with this lived experience, who has the desire to help NCHA give a voice to our care and support customers.
We are NCHA, a housing association based in Nottingham with over 10,000 homes for social housing across the East Midlands. Providing care and support services is also a huge part of our business, and our work in this area covers mental health, learning disabilities, domestic abuse, vulnerable young people, homelessness, young parents and older people, whether they need a place to live or support in their own home.
What will it involve?
Your role will be to lead a steering panel which represents the views of care and support customers as part of our wider governance structure. You will work with us to design how the panel will work and encourage care and support customers to join and participate in the panel. You will support the panel to seek input and feedback from across NCHA care and support services, so the panel influences the way NCHA works. This is a great way to get directly involved with NCHA and help shape the way we work.
To apply, click on the apply button at the top of the page. We will process all applications once the advert closes, and will respond to all candidates to let them know the outcome of their application. We will be holding interviews in Nottingham on 25th August.
We’re Nottingham Community Housing Association, known to many as NCHA. We’ve been around since 1973, and we're really proud of that. We're more than just a housing association: we deliver care and support to people all over the East Midlands. Read our story to find out more about us.
