Mississauga Managed Services IT Company has an opportunity for a professional candidate to fill the role of On-Site IT Technical Support Specialist. The qualified team member would have hands-on experience in providing various server and end user support by diagnosing hardware and software issues by phone, remote, or on-site. Responsibilities and duties:
Maintain, upgrade, and implement server installations and migrations
Install and configure new and repaired end user workstations and equipment
Hands-on work experience with Microsoft server migration and experience a must
Ability to provide support using latest remote support tools
New network hardware installation, switches, firewall installation and experience
Troubleshoot all network peripherals, printers, switches, routers, etc
Firewall management
Customer relations and interaction
Project management
Travel across GTA and surrounding to client locations
Qualifications:
IT related degree or diploma or related field experience
Networking knowledge and experience
Microsoft certifications
Experience with latest email technologies and cloud services
Virtualization experience an asset
Backup and failover technologies experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
IT Troubleshooting skills required
2-5 years experience in an IT related field
Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle is mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
