*Humans Cornwall are supporting people to find personal assistants. The role may be a private arrangement or funded through a Direct payment*
Location: St. Day
Lady who likes animals seeks a kind personal assistant, with a quiet disposition to support her at home and in the community. She has a diagnosis of Osteoarthritis and Myalgic encephalomyelitis (M.E).
Support required:
· Shopping
· Meal preparation (Batch cooking)
· Some personal support
· Tidying home
· Accessing community
Hourly rate of pay: £10.90 or £13.54 (if self-employed)
Total hours: 6hrs per week; 2 positions available, please be aware you may be expected to cover sickness and holiday..
Support times will be mid-afternoon onwards – to be negotiated and discussed with any successful applicants.
Essential:
- Full driving licence
Desirable:
- Some previous knowledge and experience of working in a similar role.
