*Humans Cornwall are supporting people to find personal assistants. The role may be a private arrangement or funded through a Direct payment*
Location: Newlyn
Lady who enjoys going to the beach and walking the dogs, seeks a self-employed personal assistant who has a calm approach. She has a diagnosis of Autism.
Support required:
· Due to the lady’s condition, she may present behaviours that challenge which may affect her environment or the person supporting her.
· Accessing community
· Domestic tasks
Hourly rate of pay: £13.54 (council contribution)
Total hours: 6hrs per week. Tuesdays and Fridays for 3 hours a day, during school hours. Day/times are potentially negotiable.
Essential:
- Must be an animal lover, as the lady has a dog and a cat.
- Full driving licence
- Chilled and relaxed approach; the lady is best supported through allowing her to work through what she is feeling and doing.
