Library Inclusion and Support Co-Ordinator

We are looking for a motivated, committed individual with excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and an eye for detail, who will work as part of Library Services with work related to supporting access and inclusion for students with disabilities.
This post will consist of a large amount of data entry. You will accurately update electronic student profiles to reflect their required adjustments.
You will be assisting with induction activities to introduce new and prospective students with disabilities to the Library services and facilities, and to provide ongoing support to students throughout their courses.
You will also be required to assist with the day to day running of the Assistive Technology Centre, supporting students using the Centre and liaising with Library and IT staff to ensure software, computers and equipment are in good working order.
Experience and knowledge of providing training and support to students and staff on the use of assistive software packages such as Dragon Naturally Speaking, Zoom text, Inspiration and Jaws would be advantageous as well as a current awareness of disability legislation.
