All relevant training and support will often be provided by your employer to support your development and start your career journey in care. If you are interested, most employers offer you the opportunity to study towards social care qualifications such as level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care once you have started in the role.

The post-holder will support our North Yorkshire residents who are most at risk of serious illness from COVID-19 and therefore has a professional responsibility to preserve safety and to take all reasonable precautions necessary to avoid any potential health risks to themselves or others. It is highly desirable for successful candidates to have completed (or be willing to complete) a full course of COVID vaccination.

Salary: £11.72-£12.38 per hour
