If this sounds like you, we’re looking for a customer-focused individual with a broad understanding of technology to join our team!
As the IT Support Specialist, you will be based out of our Manitoba Regional Office in Winnipeg and will offer support to users who are experiencing challenges with their computers or software. Support can be provided in person, over the phone, or online. You will address issues ranging from the network systems to individual desktop computers. The IT Support Specialist is also responsible for maintaining the company's computer services and equipment.
Your contributions to the team include:
- Troubleshooting to detect and solve technical problems
- Providing on-site and remote support
- Being proactive in providing hands-on solutions
- Supporting Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Office 365 and mobile devices
- Participating in cross-function projects
- Responding to user requests
- Providing technical guidance and timely solutions
- Escalating unresolved issues in a timely manner
- Deploying, upgrading and refreshing equipment and devices
- Ensuring continuous improvement of on-site service delivery
What you need to be successful:
- Post-secondary education in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1 years of direct work experience in user support
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration would be an asset
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong problem identification and troubleshooting skills
