As a leading global insurance broker and risk adviser, Marsh is devoted to finding diverse individuals that are committed to the success of our clients and our organisation. Working at Marsh means joining a team of diverse professionals across the globe, dedicated to helping clients manage some of the world’s most challenging and complex risks. In order to provide our clients with high quality service we help colleagues grow through a number of learning and development programmes.
What you can expect - Claims
It is often said that the Claims Department is the shop window of the insurance industry – i.e. it is the end-product that clients are buying when they pay their insurance premiums. It is for this reason that Marsh invests heavily in its claims team and has a genuine desire to build a market-leading team of claims professionals. Our Claims team spans all classes of insurance and we have the depth and breadth to deal with anything from a minor motor incident to multi-billion dollar losses. In this role you will work within the retail division of Marsh, dealing primarily with claims arising from Employer Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), Products, Motor and Property policies.
The Claims role is a client-facing, value-creating role which enhances Marsh’s competitive position. Claims professionals draw on their experience to help clients to solve Claims issues and ensure that they receive a best-in-class claims service from all suppliers in the Claims management process. We advocate for each of our clients to achieve a reduction in the total cost of third party claims, placing clients in the best position possible for their renewals. Claims professionals also help to maximise claims settlements on first party claims to limit the business impact of claims.
In this role, you work with the account owners, placement brokers and claims analysts to devise and deliver a joined up claims service plan which meets the client’s needs.
