We are currently recruiting Support Practitioner's within our 24 housing support services in Bridge of Earn, Perth. This is a new service supporting an individual who has additional complex support needs with a view to helping them live an independent fulfilling life while supporting them to achieve their goals. We are offering full or part time, permanent contracts as well as a wide range of staff benefits where you can be rewarded for the great work you deliver. No previous experience in social care is required as full training and support will be provided. It is essential you are able to work flexible hours to cover various shifts to support the needs of the person being supported.
What your day will look like:
You will be working 1;2;1 with an adult supporting them with day to day living and helping them achieve their ambitions and goals. No two days are same and your role will include helping support someone with cooking, cleaning, attending appointments, managing finances and getting involved with hobbies and interests the person may have, such as; bowling, swimming, walking, shopping and arts and crafts. There will be personal care involved and guidance/training will be provided.
