Here at GXO we are looking for Engineer Support Operatives to join us at our Northampton site (NN4 9FJ).
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours, on an any 5 of 7 rotating shift of 06:00-14:00, and 14:00-22:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Responsible for ensuring that the site automation keeps running with minimal downtime- Complying with the site recovery procedures for automation whilst also ensuring all consumables are topped up
- Working alongside the Swiss Log Engineers, escalating any mechanical or electrical issues during operations
- Adhering to site policy and procedures whilst maintaining efficient operations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Understanding of automation and aptitude to learn- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience of working in a complex, fast-moving environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Strong visual awareness (hazard spotting skills)
- Analytical with good problem-solving skills
