The team:

The Workplace Technology Team is a key part of life at Zopa, ensuring employees have the systems and tooling they need by providing support and escalating issues whenever needed, to ensure we can get everyone working as quickly as possible.

We are now looking for a new member of the team provide deskside support to our new and existing Zopians. We work in a Windows and Mac environment with lots of applications, so you will be using your experience with both, to help troubleshoot issues with varying degrees of difficulty. You'll also be working with teams across the organisation ensuring escalations are handles quickly. All of our Workplace Technology Team are part of an on-call rota to ensure our staff are supported 24/7.

The role:

    • Provide support in a mixed client platform environment (Windows, MacOS, etc)
    • Assist Zopa's staff via phone, Slack and our ITSM (Jira) and walk-ups.
    • Commissioning and de-commissioning of laptops.
    • Support end user workstation hardware, software, network devices, cabling, and networking hardware, printers, and software products.
    • Work with the senior members of the support team, as well as wider IT team to ensure issues are escalated in a timely manner.
    • Supporting AV for meeting rooms and conferences (hardware and software).
    • Ensure we are amply stocked with all the workplace tech users may need.
    • Ensure on and off boarding is a smooth experience.

About you:

    • Worked in a helpdesk environment previously (1-2+ years)
    • You're passionate about providing the best user support experience and don't leave the little things incomplete
    • Excited to join a team that strives to provide great service in a timely manner
    • Good level of understanding of Windows and Mac
    • Good understanding of thee ins and outs of computers
    • You enjoy troubleshooting issues and helping find the root cause
    • Passionate about continuous improvement bringing new and exciting ideas to the team
