Vivian Bowers are delighted to work with a trusted IT Partner, who are seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide full 3rd line support to all clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network connectivity
- Working with new technologies and developing new solutions for use in Educational and SMB Sectors
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- To undertake audits and provide recommendations on customers’ IT environment
- Assisting with the creation of technical documentation and proposals
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- A fundamental understanding of Networking, Microsoft products and virtualisation is required for this role.
- Experience using Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft Exchange, Hyper-V, Office 365, Azure, SAN/ISCSI, RDS and Apple.
- A good base networking knowledge is required which would be mainly, but not limited to HP and Cisco.
- Experience of deployment and maintenance of MS Office 365 and Azure solutions
- Solid experience of VMWare or Hyper-V setup, configuration and support
- Experience of installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows Server 2008 r2 upwards, with Active Directory Services and Group Policies
