About Us:
You would be working as an IT Support Engineer for an established IT services & consultancy company. Tech Support Group are based in London with clients across the UK. We supply end to end IT support services from purchase and installation, to maintenance and ongoing support.
Our support engineers provide both telephone and face to face IT Support to over 130 businesses, circa 2500 users, across the UK.
We are looking to grow our team ideally with someone who has a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar remit. The candidate needs to be willing to learn new applications and able to support users over the phone and face to face whilst supporting the team in projects. We would also welcome someone who is keen to introduce ideas and processes of their own.
This unique role has endless learning potential, with an excellent starting salary. The team is small and the role involves some travel where necessary.

Job Description:
- To provide IT support & preventative maintenance for our clients.
- To manage calls and tickets detailing progress on each task for both the end user and other team members.
- Communicate with all relevant parties affected by any task in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensure that IT issues & faults are properly reported to the IT team and resolved in the shortest possible time.
- Ensuring the smooth running of all IT & communications systems.
- Resolve complex hardware/software issues.
- Resourcing competitive pricing for hardware quotes.
- Support Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint.
- Provide support for MS Office.
Key Responsibilities: 1st & 2nd line Hands on IT Support and problem management
- Windows Server, Windows 10, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange Online and SharePoint
- Networking skills (DNS,DHCP,TCP/IP, Firewalls, Switches, VPN, Wi-Fi)
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting
- Comfortable working with all levels of staff
- Working with multiple suppliers and service providers
Profile:
- Able to provide excellent Customer Service to users
- Two years’ experience in IT Support desirable
- Professional
- Punctual
- Able to follow processes e.g. recording timesheets
- Excellent telephone manner with a strong ability to offer support instructions
- Able to resolve simple support issues over the telephone & through remote access
- Able to work within a team as well as autonomously
- Able to travel across the UK
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
