I am looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer to join my rapidly growing client over in Kent. Positioned within logistics, they are looking to welcome a personable engineer to be the first port of call for incident requests relating to business software or infrastructure issues.
Primary responsibilities:
1st and 2nd line support
Escalate issues when necessary and liaise with 3rd parties to find a resolution
Testing, evaluation and deployment of new technology and equipment
Areas of documentation includes users, incident, infrastructure, mobile devices, network, software and assets
Participation in continuous development to meet expectations
Maintain and update IT assets
Key contributor to the internal knowledge base
Key Skills:
IT Service desk experience / Infrastructure experience (minimum 2 years)
Maintenance of IT software, hardware and related peripherals
Windows OS
Network maintenance
Ability to work to SLAs in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organisation skills
This role is based on site Mon-Fri with the potential to travel when necessary. My client offers 28 days holidays, an employee assistance programme and great opportunities for training and development.
