We have a great opportunity for an experienced Field Support Engineer to join our wider IT Team and work across our construction sites throughout the UK.

The successful Field Support Engineer will be responsible for the ICT infrastructure and at our project sites across the UK, as well as on-site break/fix support.

As Field Support Engineer you will also possess an understanding of structured cabling systems, TCP/IP networking and router configuration and troubleshooting is required.

You will provide direct onsite IT support for our business systems and this primarily includes but is not limited to the following:

• Site infrastructure deployment
• Workstation hardware and software support
• Local Networking support – wired and wireless
• Infrastructure Networking Support – WAN and internet
• Support business systems – Printers / CCTV / mobile devices
• Provide prompt resolution of all calls logged via the IT Helpdesk
• Develop an excellent understanding of the local IT environment and work towards continuous improvement goals set by your IT Manager
• Be responsible for the majority of IT onsite issues/projects and escalate to senior engineers or management where and when required

Essential

• Prior experience within a similar role
• Highly self-motivated
• Possess excellent troubleshooting skills
• A full, clean driving license is essential

Due to the nature of the role regular travel to our construction sites across the country is a core part of the role.
