Job description
To work as part of the IT Systems team to perform both technical and administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and efficiency of computer and telecoms systems. To configure, install and maintain computer systems and networks throughout the plant.
-§ Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the company
§ Prioritising and managing support tasks through the company ticketing system
§ Diagnosing and troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues
§ Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of the company’s computer and network systems
§ Repairing or replacing damaged computer and network components
§ Managing user accounts and their access permissions
§ Setting up user workstations, with computer equipment, phones, and software
§ Bespoke programming to support both office and factory users
§ Ensuring that employees are following information security and privacy policies
§ Maintaining the effective running of the CCTV systems
§ Maintaining the effective running of the telephony systems
§ Maintaining the daily routines for server backup systems
§ Maintaining knowledge of the network infrastructure
§ Maintaining knowledge of rapidly changing technologies, utilities and tools
§ Adhering to company protocol as per the Company Handbook
Carry out any additional duties as directed by Senior Management

Qualifications/experience
Good standard of education to a minimum of A level or equivalent
Good understanding of Microsoft business applications
Windows server administration
Active directory
SCCM
O365 (including exchange on line)
Knowledge of SAP
Experience of a manufacturing business environment
The successful candidate will be provided with training to support their development
Salary:
The salary of £25,000 salary would be subject to an additional £5460 for on call requirements bringing the salary to £30,460. However, please note the on call arrangement is a new requirement currently being trialled by the team.
