Escape Recruitment are working with their Client based in Livingston, busy precision engineering company whose business is a mixture of Machining, Fabrication, Assembly and Design to recruit a Support Engineer on a basis. This is a new role created to improve the efficiency and throughput of the workshop areas and support other areas of the business where required. The Main Responsibilities for the role will be to Provide Engineering Support to multiple business areas. Assembly of components Hands on fitting of various projects Supporting the Engineering team where and when required Providing support to various Manufacturing Areas where/ when required Supporting the CNC area when required Polishing, deburring, grit blasting, helicoiling, cleaning of components etc Forklift driving (training will be provided if required) Providing Holiday cover in certain areas Occasional delivery driving when the driver is overloaded or on holiday Education/Experience required for this role will be:- Someone mechanically minded with a can do attitude Experience within a metal working factory a distinct advantage Good problem solving skills Experience of using hand tools an advantage Full UK driver's license Full Training will be provided for the right individual, this is a great opportunity to further develop your current skill-set and be part of a Team with an exciting future ahead and potential to further your career.
