If you’re an experienced IT Support Engineer looking for your next opportunity, a UK market leader in construction is currently looking for you to work at their site in Lostock, Bolton. Earning up to £30,000 plus benefits, you will be an integral part of the Tier 2 IT Support team, providing IT support across the business and multiple sites.
Your key responsibilities within the IT Support Engineer role will be:
- Managing IT requirements for all staff across the business
- Dealing with incoming queries, helping users & suppliers
- Computer builds, support, repairs & troubleshooting
- User account set up
- Software troubleshooting
- Mobile & tablet set up & troubleshooting
- Support Teams meeting rooms
To be successful in this IT Support Engineer role you will be an effective communicator and be able to work at pace to meet deadlines and SLA’s. Ideally you will have experience in:
- A similar role providing IT Support to a large number of users
- Troubleshooting and configuring modern and legacy Windows systems and Office 365
- Experience using Active Directory
- Both local and remote IT support experience
- Service desk/ITIL experience
- Qualifications in ITIL or CompTIA would be beneficial but are not essential to be successful in this role
