Cancer affects us all in different ways. We know it can be difficult. Big C is here, across our county, to support anyone affected by cancer in any way.
We have a part time opportunity for Support & Information Officers to join our Charitable Operations team at our centres in Norwich, including our new Dereham Road centre and the centre on the grounds of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Our Support and Information Officer's enhance the wellbeing of Big Cs service users through the provision of cancer information and support; in person, by telephone and/or video calls, facilitating support groups and referring the users to other beneficial services, such as our physical activity program, health walks, counselling and our wealth of holistic complimentary therapy services.
You will be joining the team at a hugely exciting time as we prepare to open another Norwich centre on Dereham Road which will provide community based support alongside our existing centre in the grounds of the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital. We are immensely proud of how our services and team have developed to meet the needs of service users under the restrictions of Covid-19 and are excited about moving forwards in a way that provides the very best support both in person and virtually.

The working hours are 28 hours per week to be worked flexibly over 4 days. The salary is £14,848 to £16,248 per annum* (£18,560.00 to £20,310.00 full time equivalent)*. Subject to eligibility/scheme rules, benefits include:
