Job description

The Paediatric Virtual Ward is a new initiative set up between 3 referring hospitals within Manchester University Hospital Foundation Trust and the Manchester Local Care Organisation to nurse children at home who would normally require hospital admission.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Paediatric Virtual Ward administration team within the Children’s Community Nursing Service at Longsight Health Centre.
You will be responsible for providing full administration support service for the Paediatric Virtual Ward Team.

The post holder will be required to use computerised systems such as EMIS, Word applications and have excellent telephone skills.

You will work with the existing administrative assistant providing cover to this seven-day service. Hours to be discussed.

The successful candidate will have administration experience and will possess excellent organisation and communication skills.
