The Role
As a Logistic Account Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working where your knowledge and drive is really needed to make a difference, an exciting New Project with international exposure. You will be integral to the working and function of the Equipment Support Cell and their integration, communication and problem solving with the technical SMEs is key to the success of the team.
Day to day, you will be responsible for the control and management of the Supply Chain, provisioning of spares and its delivery to support maintenance in order to sustain the necessary level of availability of the equipment fleet.
- Provide point of contact for Supply Chain in UK and overseas.
- Attend the Supply Chain Meeting and leads on priorities within the Supply Chain.
- Manage and prioritise incoming spares demands
- Responsible for spares escalation, in accordance with customer priorities
- Responsible for warehouse assurance and audit.
- Connects Supply Chain expertise with Engineering SMEs.
- Report on metrics and progress on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation.
- Demonstrate a functional and technical acumen to support how solutions will address customer needs while maintaining alignment with engineering policy and best practices.
Essential experience of the Logistic Account Manager:
- Military Logistician with Reverse Supply Chain experience (highly desirable)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and operational functions in the organisation
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
- Build and maintain relationships to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve solutions.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
This is a full-time role, 37 hours. We offer a hybrid working arrangement.
Qualifications for the Logistic Account Manager:
- Preferably educated to degree level with a Supply Chain or Logistics degree or similar qualification, or equivalent level of relevant experience
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
